We’re not sure about you guys but our Christmas countdown has officially begun. Now that it is finally December we can watch all of our favorite holiday movies (Elf is by far the BEST). For those of you who haven’t made a wish list yet, we hope this helps. These are some of the things we will be asking for this holiday season! What are you guys asking for?
We hope all of you enjoyed your Thanksgiving and are going crazy for Cyber Monday. Though we have been lacking on our blog posts recently, we have been trying to relax and spend time with family (and do a little shopping as well). Since it is officially freezing outside everyday, our outfits have become less and less interesting. You’ll find us sticking with basic sweaters and dark jeans and jewelry is a given.

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone! Since today is turkey day, most of us fashion lovers know that tomorrow is Black Friday! We wanted to put together a simple, “black” (of course!) outfit for you to wear if you choose to venture out tomorrow and do some shopping. It’s easy to change in and out of because you don’t want anything to hold you back. It’s important to avoid anything with a lot of buttons, zippers or any chunky jewelry. If you guys do go out, we would love to hear what you got and all of the amazing deals!
Lately, our outfits consist of mostly black pieces which we do love but sometimes it’s nice to break it up a bit with another color. I our case, it’s white (we know, very adventurous!). A Black and white combo is always instyle but can easily be made a little more modern and edgy, depending on the look you’re going for.
Celine decided to wear a loose black and white striped top tucked into a more tightly fit skirt. She chose to wear socks that just peeked out the top of her booties. Of course, this doesn’t protect your legs from the cold but I can’t deny it makes me feel as if I’m trying.

We recently discovered Rakani, a watch company that is “defining time”. We have fallen in love with their Fashionably Late Collection, and how they make us feel just a little bit less guilty about being fashionably late. Rakani has helped us understand that being late does not mean we are being careless and irresponsible but that we can be fashionable and elegant while defying the standard. Their unique and clever designs leave you wanting more so we chose three of our favorites to share with you.
1. Stuck in Traffic, an elegant excuse
At first glance you may not realize but these Swarovski crystals are used to represent cars in traffic. Clever right? And, they are placed specifically from the hours of 4 and 8 to symbolize evening rush hour! Obsessed.
2. Redefine, running behind
When running behind we always wish that time would pass more slowly or that it would go backwards just so we can get a few more minutes. Rakani has now turned this concept into a unique timepiece where both the numbers and movement of the hands run counterclockwise.
3. Ish, be approximate
How often do you find yourselves saying, “I’ll be there at 5-ish or 6-ish.”? Because we know, just as well as you do that 5-ish never really means 5 just as much as 6-ish does not mean 6. Approximating time makes us feel not so guilty when we know that we’re just a few minutes passed fashionably late.

If you guys don’t already know, we love bags. Unfortunately, a lot of the time the ones we truly love are the ones that come with a hefty price tag. But, what we have learned is that if you find a timeless bag that you know you will love forever, then it’s alright to splurge. You will feel a lot less guilty when you know that this bag can be easily incorporated into your entire wardrobe. A few things to keep in mind…1) Make sure it’s the right color. The bag should be a neutral or a color that will work well with your existing wardrobe. 2) Make sure it’s the right size, not too big or too small. 3) Make sure it’s good quality. It’s imporant that if you are spending a lot of money on the bag and plan on using it everyday, it will last for years and years.
We can’t believe it’s Novemeber and this morning we witnessed the first “snow” of the season. Where has the fall gone? This look is the perfect transition from fall to winter. As you all already know, we love dresses but, as we progress into the winter they require a sweater and maybe some stockings. If you too like wearing dresses during this time of the year, you can wear a loose fitted cardigan (maybe a chunky scarf) over a slimmer dress with some socks that peek out of your boots, like Sophie did here.
